A new name for Chandler Macleod Group to increase local strength with global scale

By RGF Staffing APEJ

November 19, 2021

On November 18th, 2021, Chandler Macleod Group took on a new name. A faster, simpler, closer connection to their parent company RGF Staffing.

From now on, Chandler Macleod Group will go by: RGF Staffing APEJ (Asia Pacific Excluding Japan).

What does the Chandler Macleod Group name change mean for stakeholders?

A new name for this leading player in the local staffing market means extra support for their established and high-profile brands consisting of, Chandler Macleod, Peoplebank, Vivir healthcare, ahs hospitality, OCG, Leaders IT Services and Aurion.

Why the change?

The most prominent reason can be found in the name itself. RGF is short for Recruit Global Family. Which is exactly how this company wants to be represented: an international network of local brands that are connected as a global family business. RGF Staffing is the world’s largest network of staffing companies, which stretches across four continents and provides work for around 300,000 people every single day.

There are clear and direct benefits for both their customers and candidates by highlighting this message.

What are the benefits for RGF Staffing APEJ clients?

There are several added benefits from leveraging the global support of the RGF Staffing Group.

First and foremost, the financial security of the company is unquestionable. Whilst Chandler Macleod Group had no shaky foundations, with the backing of RGF, there really is no room for uncertainty.

Additionally, and one element that is specifically significant within the government sector would be peace of mind when it comes to compliance and procedure. RGF Staffing was built on partnering and supporting Governments across the globe and has expert understanding of compliance and procedures in this arena due to their diverse experience over the years. Although the Chandler Macleod Group of brands has also specialised in working with the Government for several decades and have done so with great compliance, this extra backing acts as further security for Government clients to know the right approach will always be taken and compliance and procedure is of utmost importance to the RGF Staffing Group.

Another major benefit would be the ability to leverage best practice insights and knowledge from a global footprint. RGF Staffing APEJ will have a closer insight into what is happening within other staffing or recruitment adjacent businesses operating across the globe in Japan, the USA, and Europe. Including brands such as Indeed and Glassdoor, which can offer unique insights and prove useful in forecasting risks and solutions for the Australian market.

The above benefit, one of global reach, would equal further advantages by way of efficient and forward-thinking innovation when it comes to product solutions, accessing the best technologies and implementing the finest processes within all relevant local businesses.

It also means, if ever it was necessary, that it would be faster and simpler to be an international partner for governments globally looking to fill roles. For non-government specific clients, the most obvious benefit is the enhancement of the candidate base. As international travel begins to re-open in Australia and the overseas candidate market builds again, being connected and having this global reach will be of major importance within the current candidate short market.

Finally, the RGF Staffing Group has immense passion and experience within diversity initiatives, believing in ‘opportunities for all’. This is something that may largely appeal to the pioneers of diversity within the public sector. Whilst there is no word yet on whether local brands will adopt the exact diversity initiatives run by RGF Staffing, it is important to note that all current diversity programs and potential for future proposals are likely to gain positive support from a global stance.

Enhancing local strengths

Overall, this change means local experts are backed up by a global network of industry experts and by a financially strong mother organisation, with an annual revenue of more than 10 billion euros. It also means they have the scale and ambition to invest in innovative services with real added value. Including smart, digital solutions – an area in which they also benefit from family connections with leading pioneers such as Indeed and Glassdoor.

Not only will RGF Staffing APEJ have stronger backings, but by taking on the RGF name, they will also enhance the company’s existing strengths: Their strong local brands, including Chandler Macleod, Peoplebank, Vivir healthcare, ahs hospitality, OCG, Leaders IT Services and Aurion.

Regional CEO Peter Acheson states, “These will continue to be at the frontline of our efforts to help customers and candidates here in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. After all, they are strongly embedded in the local labour markets and are close to our customers and candidates, in every way.”

With that in mind, the business wants to live by the RGF Staffing Group mission:

Opportunities for Life.
Faster, simpler and closer to you.

Since RGF’s conception, they have aimed to connect individuals and businesses offering both a multitude of choices. In the current times, where information has become available anytime anywhere, businesses need to focus more on proposing the optimal choice. RGF Staffing APEJ seek to provide “Opportunities for Life” much faster, surprisingly simpler and closer than ever before.

The company’s local brands in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore are promising to continue delivering great value and an outstanding experience. Think: faster, simpler and closer to their customers, with local people’s expertise and additional support of smart technology and digitalisation.
