The department is seeking to fill the role Head of Division (SES Band 2), Economic and Analytical Services. As a member of our leadership team, you will play a significant role in contributing to the strategic direction of the department, and in achieving the objectives of the Australian Government.
As the Head of Division, Economic and Analytical Services you will provide compelling insights and data, ensuring the Government can lead the national agenda on industry, science and technology policy with confidence and authority.
You will lead a division that has unrivalled access to rich data sets, brought to life with novel data visualisations. The division’s analysis helps Government anticipate and get to grips with international drivers of change.
You will be supported by experienced and highly valued staff who will assist you in providing Government advice on emerging economic issues, and building the evidence base for effective policy and program design.
