Omera Partners is proud to partner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on the executive search for two new Branch Heads.
Reporting to the NDIS Commission Registrar and as key members of the leadership team, the Branch Heads are responsible for providing leadership across their Branches with responsibilities for state and territory based regulatory functions. This includes the management of complaints about NDIS supports and services, building provider capability to prevent and manage incidents affecting people with disability, compliance and investigation activities, and enforcement action. The Branch Heads will monitor performance of regional activities, facilitate information sharing with other regulators, industry bodies and engage with stakeholders representing the interests of people with disability.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a strong background in a contemporary regulatory setting with highly developed leadership and relationship management capabilities. The roles require sound judgement, strong accountability, and a structured, rigorous approach, underpinned by a strong track record of statutory decision-making. Above all, candidates will need to be highly effective in managing dispersed teams, working collaboratively and sensitively to deliver outcomes in a dynamic, complex environment.
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is an independent government agency established to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. The NDIS Commission regulates NDIS providers, promoting safety and quality services, resolving issues experienced by people with disability receiving NDIS supports and services, and identifying areas for improvement. The Commission works with NDIS participants, service providers, workers and the community to implement a new nationally consistent approach so that, across Australia, NDIS participants can access services and supports that promote choice, control and dignity.
