More public servants have come forward to state they were unaware of Scott Morrison’s secret appointment to five ministries.

Respondents to the survey by Democracy 2025 indicated that public trust for museums and galleries is higher than universities and the media. 

Garnaut warns that democracy is being challenged by a decline in knowledge, as well as a decline in ‘respect for the role of knowledge in policy-making in the 21st century’.
