The latest research on hybrid working suggests there has been a shift within the Australian Public Service from a predominant focus on productivity to performance to outcomes.
The report, “Hybrid Working: From ‘the new normal’ to ‘business as usual’”, was a collaboration by academics from UNSW Canberra, Charles Sturt University and Edith Cowan University.
In early April, Mandarin editor Peter Gearin moderated a webinar discussion in which the report authors explained their findings and reflected on what they believe it will mean for public service flexibility, effectiveness and productivity.
